The Heavy Duty Disconnect is designed to provide a release mechanism within a coil tubing bottomhole assembly, whilst maintaining a high torque through facility for use in conjunction with downhole motors.

The Heavy Duty Disconnect is designed to provide a release mechanism within a coil tubing bottomhole assembly, whilst maintaining a high torque through facility for use in conjunction with downhole motors. If necessary the disconnect is activated by a dropping a ball, via the Coiled Tubing, to seat inside the Hydraulic Disconnect Sub. When the tool is disconnected a standard GS internal type fish neck profile is exposed for future retrieval of the lower BHA section.
